We will do your Pressure Washing for you!!
ROOF CLEANING or SOFT WASHING
Remember the first time you looked up at your roof and noticed those black stains appearing on your shingles? Do you remember how you felt when you saw it slowly spreading across the roof? Your home was fairly new and your shingles barely a few years old. How could this be happening and what was causing it? Well, you weren’t alone in your frustration. It appears that this is quite a common occurrence in Florida. Even on a roof with fungus resistant shingles, the fungus protection applied by the manufacturers of the shingles can begin to fail as soon as 2-3 years after installation. As the protection fails, staining can appear within six months. In Florida’s hot & humid climate, it seems that inevitably a fungus actually begins to grow on your roof shingles; leaving behind these stains that continue to spread across your roof if left untreated. These fungi live abundantly in the soil. Like all fungi, they multiply by microscopic spores which float through the air and after landing on a hospitable surface, germinate. Fungi feed on organic matter such as wood, paper and asphalt, just to mention a few, and in the process, decompose and eventually destroy the material on which they grow.
Many people wonder why a pressure washing company would offer roof cleaning when you know that shingles should NOT be pressure washed. The answer is in the application of the same chemicals used to clean your house. When cleaning a shingled roof, the chemicals are applied like a mild rain and rinsed using more water volume than any such pressure to thoroughly clean shingles. We never use pressure on roof shingles when the only safe roof cleaning is a chemical cleaning. Many home owners don’t even know their roof can be cleaned removing stains and the dark discolored look. Roofs can be cleaned and generally a Soft Roof Wash produces results that look like a new roof. If your roof looks darker or green in some or all areas it probably needs cleaning.
EXTERIOR HOUSE WASHING
One of the most common concerns customers have and mention to us is “I don’t want someone to put a lot of pressure on my house.” This is a great concern and we make it a priority to put only the necessary amount of pressure on any surface. Although we have pressure washing equipment that can reach up to 4000 PSI, that much pressure is rarely used. The fact is that nearly any surface is cleaned more safely and effectively with the proper chemicals and cleaners and the least amount of pressure possible. Some pressure washing companies refer to this as soft washing. When cleaning the exterior of any home or building regardless if it is brick, vinyl, T-111, hardy board, stucco or any other surface, this is the process any experienced professional will use. It is not good for any home exterior to be blasted away at it with high pressure as it can damage wood, blow out window seals, strip good paint and chip away at bricks and grout. Be careful who you hire to pressure wash your home. If they are a company that does a little of everything, they may do more harm than good. We, on the other hand, specialize specifically in pressure washing.
POOL DECKS & SCREEN ENCLOSURES (also referred to as ‘Bird Cage’)
Pool decks and screen enclosures are items we clean most. If you’ve never had a professional pressure washing of your pool deck and enclosure you are missing out. We can pretty much make it like new again including aluminum framework structure inside and out. It’s your own little paradise for entertaining family and friends and we can keep it looking nice.
DRIVEWAY and SIDEWALK PRESSURE CLEANING
Home owners are often surprised when they see how clean their driveway and walkways look after a professional pressure washing. With commercial grade equipment the results of concrete cleaning are very uniform and bright. Quite a few homeowners own a pressure washer, but it would take them an entire day to clean the driveway and sidewalk plus not look as clean as when we clean it. It is also important to know which chemicals to use to treat oil stains, rust stains, and stubborn mildew. We pressure wash standard size driveways free, if requested, when you get your roof chemically cleaned and exterior house washed.
